PRAYER FOR OTHERS

God Blessed Morning Family!

One of the most caring and selfless acts of power and love we can do is to Pray for others. This sounds so easy and holds such a powerful act of Love that one would think it is something that can be done all the time for those we love and even those who trespass against us. But the truth is that it is something we rarely do because most of the time we are self-absorbed that we barely give thought to the care of others let alone Prayer for our enemies. Jesus taught us how to do unto others as we would have them do unto us, He also taught us how to Pray for those who trespass against us. For His last Prayer before He transitioned from the flesh was the most powerful and selfless act of love for the forgiveness of our Souls even though He was the one being crucified and in need of pain relief He saw beyond His immediate needs and ask for our eternal blessing. How often have you Prayed for God to forgive those who trespass against you? This is not a trick question, but it is one to get you thinking about how selfless acts of love are not as easy as holding the door for someone to enter a room before you, but it is as easy as sincerely asking God to forgive those who have shown themselves to be enemies and have purposely trespassed against you. Some of you will have difficulty just reading those last words, but I would not be doing you a service if I did not provoke you to give it some thought. Think about what it would look like to Pray for your enemies forgiveness and then think about how you will feel after you have done as such. What should come to mind is that with this Prayer of forgiveness for your enemies you are now released from the bondage of carrying around the heavy burden of the hatred, anger and disappointment and the darkness these negative feelings bring about. For to remove these feelings from your heart and Soul you have more room for Love, for when you pray for others it is a selfless act but it is also a self benefiting act in which we will receive Love once we open our hearts to the act of forgiving those who tresspass against us and say goodbye to darkness and welcome the Love that comes along with Praying for others. For Praying for our enemies does not instantly remove them from dealing with whatever karma they have created as they tresspassed against us but what it does instantly is releases us and allows us to

forgive ourselves in which we can forgive and let go of the darkness and pain and walk into the Light and Love of God. Be Still And Know That I Am.

Amen.

Hallelujah.
