God Blessed Morning Family!
Sitting is not just an act of rest it is a position we take when we are at times learning and Glory comes when we are in His presence and sitting at His feet for it is a true blessing. For when we sit at His feet we are humbled and blessed to be in His presence for He has many things to share with us and we have much to learn "She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. . .Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:39-42. When we sit it might be seen as if we are not actively participating in what is going on in our environment but the one truth is that being present is an act of learning. For when we sit we observe and acknowledge all that He has done for us and understand all that He is capable of doing. These things sometimes get overlooked when we are moving about in an attempt to make things happen in a way we desire and we tend to forget the power in just sitting and being in His presence. Sitting brings about a calmness that allows our thoughts to flow more freely and clearly so that we can connect with the abundance of information in which He is providing on a constant basis. For we are to learn that the universe is our classroom and everything within it has been strategically placed by Him for our discovery in understanding our purpose and His Divine Power. For when we sit at His feet it is not for rest but it is a position in which we are given the gift of not only His teachings but also His Wisdom and Knowledge that cannot be found anywhere else but at His Feet. Be Still And Know That I Am. Amen. Hallelujah.
