God Blessed Morning Family!
Yesterday because of the required clean-up of the aftermath of Hurricane Irma most people in the impacted states did not remember that it was the anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. When faced with tragedy man tends to memorialize the event and remember it in a somber ceremony annually. In hope that doing this will honor the memory of the victims and survivors but also so that it would never be repeated. Mostly what it does is focuses on the hurt and pain that surrounded the event. It is tragic that we suffer the loss of loved ones and that such traumatic events like 9/11 even occur. The one thing we must always remember is that God Is. For the events in which we suffer a loss of loved ones should not be the focal point of the memory of them, for we should celebrate every aspect of their Life and remember our experiences with them and not how we lost them. Remember that God is present every moment of their physical and Spiritual Life . Remember that their Life not a tragedy that is to be remembered but a journey that included you and has transitioned to the next level of eternal Life. Remember the works of the Lord for we may have lost loved ones through tragedy but His Mercy and Grace is present throughout their physical journey and to lift them up into eternity. For there is no pain in death only in the memory of those who choose to remember the tragedy of the event and forget to honor the glory of those who have transitioned. Remember the Life in which they lead is not an event it is a journey ordained by God. Be Still And Know That I Am. Amen. Hallelujah.
