God Blessed Morning Family!
It is defined that in order to be a Veteran you must have served in the military. But there are Veterans that fight for the freedom of others that did not serve in the military, for Christ fought for our Souls to be free from our sins,"For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1 Under the direction of God Moses was chosen to fight for the freedom of the slaves. Everyday we endure a battle of good and evil within ourselves and our environment for we Know right from wrong for we Know His Commandments but we still face challenges to that will lead us in the wrong direction. Just like every soldier we are armed with the tools to succeed in battle for they have an arsenal of weapons to fight off the enemy and we have the Word of God for we are all soldiers , "Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier." 2 Timothy 2: 3-4. Honor the Veterans that have sacrificed their time and lives to serve your country but also honor those who engage in Spiritual warfare to protect and release your Soul from the bondage and entrapment of sin, for we all are warriors battling against temptations that entice us to divert and not follow the Word of God, for Christ as a Veteran made the ultimate sacrifice to win the war against our sins. For this God has forgiven us of our trespasses now it is up to us to forgive ourselves and those that come against for they know not what they do but as we battle with them we then learn as Veterans in the army of the Lord that their purpose is to push us into our greatness. Be Still And Know That I Am. Amen. Hallelujah.
