God Blessed Morning Family!
Fear is not a part of our instincts nor is it a part of our natural order for it is a learned behavior. How is it that during our infancy we are able to see life with a set of eyes that hold no bias, but as we mature we begin to discern and discriminate between what we like and don't like? Some say it is because as we get older we are able to become more selective, but is this selection based on what man has programmed us to desire? If so why are we not following the Word of God and giving the words of man less precedence in our decision making. For God has told us to fear not and follow His lead but yet we still remain cautious of one another and of our journey. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7. For it is said that a man that is fearless Knows God, and to Know God is to be fearless in the face of man. I am not talking about the ability to discern between fight or flight for neither of these instincts are born out of fear, for the ability to know when to fight or flee is one given to us to maintain our survival. I am referencing fear that is a learned behavior so much so it paralyzes your independence to use your own judgement and restricts your ability to think independently and you cannot function without the input of others. This is a learned behavior and is an adaptation of Life out of fear. When we can begin to understand this then we will release ourselves from the dependency upon others to make Life decisions and return to our instincts as defined and ordained by the Word of God which Lives Within You and is independent of what we learn from others. Be Still And Know That I Am. Amen. Hallelujah.
