God Blessed Morning Family!
This day cannot be ignored for even though it marks the anniversary of the torturing of Christ it is called Good Friday. For this is the day in which it is recognized in which Christ was not only betrayed by His followers He was also ushered through the streets to be humiliated before He would be crucified. I'm am not sure that during these moments of turmoil anyone would have acknowledged it as being a Good Friday. Today we understand that His crucifixion stood for not only God's acknowledgement of our sins but also His forgiveness of our sins. Even though we understand that Christ died so that our Souls could be saved we continue to sin. Today is not only a day of remembrance but a day to cleanse us of our sins. For His death was not in vain, for God knew that because our Soul inhabits a temple of the flesh we would not be void of behaviors of the flesh. Therefore sin is a behavior in which we will not only be tempted by but also find difficult to resist and overcome when we come into contact with it on a daily basis. Use this day and everyday to ask for forgiveness of our sins, but also thank God for seeing that we were worthy of not only His forgivness but also His unconditional Love, for everyday is a Good Friday in which we should remember the sacrifice in which allowed us to be forgiven of our sins. Be Still And Know That I Am. Amen. Hallelujah.
