God Blessed Morning Family!

There are moments in which I pray, "Dear God please let me be quick to Love and Slow to anger". The scriptures mentions being quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath, but in Life the majority of times we experience just the opposite. Do you think that Jesus ever got angry? When He saw that they had made the temple into a flea market, He was angry and flipped over the tables. This is a sign of Jesus expressing emotions in which we can understand, because He walked the earth as we do, in the flesh, but also as a Spiritual Being having a physical experience. Because we are Spiritual Beings we will at times struggle with things of the flesh, and we will all fall short. Be angry, but sin not and do not let the sun go down on your anger is a verse in the scripture that acknowledges that because our flesh is weak we will express emotions that are not the most flattering definition of who we are at times, but we should do our best to not act upon the emotion. Of course this is easier said than done, so it is important that when we have that flash of anger we quickly work to defuse it for we all capable of having vengeful ways that would love to control our actions, for it feeds on anger, and as long as we feed it with anger the harder it is to control. Jesus showed us that He also struggled with containing His anger but over all He mastered it for He understood that His actions were to educate us as well as Himself in how the Spirit can and will always overcome the desires of the flesh. Anger is an emotion which drives the flesh but not the Spirit, for the Spirit only Knows Love and with Love anything and everything can be overcome, for Love is God. Be Still And Know That I Am.   Amen. Hallelujah.
