God Blessed Morning Family!
Betrayal on any level of any kind is hurtful, but when it comes from the people you trust the most it can be devastating and shake you to your core. This is the betrayal of family, and although we do not want to think it exists it does and is always a possibility. For those who find themselves in this situation or has experienced it at least once it can make you question the intentions of everyone you encounter. We must not look upon those who betray us as corrupt souls but as tools awakening us to the possibilities of Life and a key factor in our enlightenment about Life. For Joseph's brothers betrayed him, "Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content." Genesis 37:27 and it was this form of betrayal that started Joseph on his journey to fulfill his destiny. For when we are experiencing the betrayal at the hands of a loved one it is the most gut wrenching and traumatic experiences we may endure. At the time it is normal to question why, but we must turn our grief and pain over to God in order to not be distracted by it, for it is not through the pain in which we will find our strenght to go on but through the Love of God. For we learned through Joseph's experience that the only way to get over the pain of a betrayal is to Live out your destiny. This is also what Christ did when His family of disciples betrayed Him which led to His crucifiction, but He did not hate them for their actions, He continued to Love them and pray for them to be forgiven. For their actions of betrayal pushed Him into His greatness just as Joseph was. Look upon those who betray you and Love them for they unknowingly are pushing you into your greatness. Be Still And Know That I Am. Amen. Hallelujah.
