God Blessed Morning Family!

Allow yourself a moment to think about what you heard before you react on the impulse of what you thought you heard or what you wanted to hear. Our instincts put us on alert to control our awareness of what is going on in our environment, but most of the times we ignore our instincts and follow our impulsive patterns. It is our impulse which gets us into difficult situations the majority of times because we fail to slow down and think things through. "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:" James 1:19. This passage exists for it is understood that man reacts quickly and regrets later, never giving the circumstances an opportunity to unfold. Man reacted to the negative rumors told about Jesus and began to dislike Him even before they got a chance to be in His presence and hear His message. So much so when He came to town they reacted on impulse and joined in the frenzy of supporting His crucifixion. On impulse they allowed their fear to take over and placed their instincts which are God given on hiatus. God has given us instincts so we can allow our thoughts to process notbonly what we are seeing, but hearing and feeling and not make rash decisions based on our impulses that have no qualifying factors or justification for our actions. Be slow to react and take the opportunity to control your judgement by not second guessing your instincts but giving them an opportunity to reveal themselves to you so you can make a decision based on facts and not fear. Be Still And Know That I Am.   Amen. Hallelujah.
