God Blessed Morning Family!
How do you give honor to God? There was a time in which man would sacrifice a lamb or burn the first cuttings of his harvest in honor of God. This was his way of showing gratitude and saying thank you to God for all that I have and all that I am. Even though the times have passed where man is giving sacrifices and burnt offerings it is still necessary to say thank you and give honor to God for all that we have and all that we are. Although we continue to sin God remains consistent and continues to forgive us of our sins. I am not saying that we must sacrifice a lamb or make a burnt offering but I am saying that we are to honor God everyday and every moment of our Life. "Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities. I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." Isaiah 43:23-25 There is no reason for man to think that he is self made when nothing is possible without God. To not acknowledge the Work and Grace of God in our Lives is to dishonor God. To treat His Children, poorly is to dishonor Him. To purposefully cause damage to any of His creations is to dishonor Him for these are not acts of Love. It is through our acts of Love in which we show and give honor to God. We can give Honor to God every day by giving thanks with spreading Love through acts of kindness, and forgiving those who trespass against us. Giving honor to God is not a difficult thing to do for it only requires us to Love. If you struggle with finding ways to honor God just think about the wellbeing of others rather than focusing on yourself and remember that we are our Brothers keepers. Be Still And Know That I Am. Amen. Hallelujah.
