Fear is an energy which generates more fear for where the mind flows so does our energy. In moments of panic and fear the most important thing we can do is breathe for when we do it brings our mind back to our conscious state of Being. For fear is the mind racing about the unknown and/or possible outcome, but when we focus on our breathing we bring the mind back into our present state. Breathing allows us to shift our energy into a state of calm and brings the mind into focus. When someone is having a panic attack their breathing becomes irregular and out of their control for they are allowing the unconcious mind to take over. Reminding the person to breathe brings them back into a calm state and reminds them that they are in control of their emotions. For it is important for them to realize that no matter what is occurring around them externally that they cannot control they can and will always be in control of the most important of things which is their actions and reactions. It is through our actions and reactions in which we control our energy flow and channel where our Lives will go, for fear only serves to strangle our energy as well as our Faith in God. When we fail to walk with God there is no forward movement in our journey. "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
